| The painting of windows externally is very important for their long life and this work should be carried out every five years with a selected undercoat and gloss, also inside when required. A more expensive option for external painting is Linseed Oil paint which has a proven life expectation of 20 years in Scandinavia. |

| We would
recommend that where draught proofing
has been incorporated with the renovation of a sash & case window renovation, our specialised painting service is utilised. Our operatives are familiar with the concealed brushes and the necessity to ensure paint does not adhere to them, as this would reduce their effectiveness. |

| This problem has been encountered many times where windows have been
painted by other contractors and we cannot accept responsibility when this occurs. It also invalidates our ten year insurance guarantee in respect of the performance of the brushes. |
