New Timber Sash & Case Windows with a Ten Year Guarantee

We manufacture timber sash and case windows, mainly from redwood, but also in selected hardwood, in any
configuration with astragals such as 6 panes over 6 panes or as selected. All the timber in our windows is
vacuum treated, coated with clear preservative to provide long life then given a further coat of primer.

To prevent the draughts inherent in sash and case windows they are fitted with the Sealglide Draught Proof
System which also helps to reduce external noise and airborne pollution. The windows can be single glazed
or, as normally preferred, double glazed.

However we are the only Company which manufactures special Slimlite Double Glazed Units designed for
glazing windows with standard astragals where the perimeter seal is not visible. This enables the desired
visual appearance of slim astragals to be maintained but most importantly the necessary insulation value
of 2.0 or 1.6 can be obtained to comply with current Building Regulations. (Single glazing U Value 5.4).
(Note: Listed buildings in Edinburgh, are mainly single glazed)
