| U.P.V.C. Tilt and Turn |
|
| The most popular
U.P.V.C. window is the Tilt and Turn. It complies with all the Building and Health and Safety Regulations because it tilts inwards at the top for ventilation and also swings inwards, permitting safe access to the external faces of the window for cleaning. |
|
| U.P.V.C. Casement | ![]() |
| Casement is the
second most popular U.P.V.C. window, where the top hopper can open outwards and one or two of the bottom sashes open outwards. The hinges or stays fitted to this type of window allow the sash to open sufficiently to allow access through the back for cleaning the external surfaces. |
|
| U.P.V.C. Sash & Case |
|
| U.P.V.C. Sash and
Case is used to a lesser extent, and is basically modelled on the traditional timber sash and case, except that the sashes are operated by spiral balances or springs. Problems can therefore arise with accessing the external surfaces for cleaning, depending on location. |

| U.P.V.C. Entry Doors |

|
| U.P.V.C. Patio
Doors come in two types - ordinary sliding, or tilt and slide for top opening ventilation. They are always double glazed with safety glass. |
